Are Figs Really Full of Dead Wasps?

I am quite disturbed by the fact that the figs may actually contain wasp DNA. Is this a real scenario and should I be worried?

Some wasps fertilize fig flowers and then die, their DNA becomes intermingled with the fruit. But wait, wasps are rarely ever found in figs sold in supermarkets; therefore, people can safely munch on these fruits without any worries.

Now I know where the expression quote" I don't give a flying fig" comes from.

Mike, what gives?
Hadn't you debunked the wasps-in-fig thing in another content?
Is anyone at List25 keeping track of what you're saying?

Two greens on the scene
I'm sorry to learn you don't like broccoli nor celery.
Most of the time, it's due to inadequate preparation :
• broccoli should never be cooked in salt water in any metal container. Cooking it that way, the metal ions from the pot, which are contained in the water are drawn into the broccoli, giving it that metallic taste in a process called osmosis. Cooking it in a glass or ceramic container in sweetened water will give you a much better-tasting experience;
• celery is a tricky one because it mustn't be too green (it will be hard as wood) or too pale (it will turn to mush if cooked). The right time to eat some is when it is locally in season only and not an out-of-season import because it will have lost some moisture during its travel.

Sometimes, it's just a question of maturing tastebuds...

There goes fig newtons. Didn’t eat them much anyway. I really, don’t ever, want anything to do with bugs and insects.

Yeah figs may have bee  DNA  in them, but they taste good.
& If you were stranded on a island and they were all you had to eat.
( YOU WOULD) LOL

Uh most figs grown  in the U.S. are  self-pollinating. No wasps.

The fig wasp is very tiny.
