Which important changes has Apple incorporated in their newly released Mac Mini?

The new Mac Mini redesign is expected to make the new Mac Mini the slimmest class, with a total of 5 USB-C ports, some of which are front-mounted for enhanced ease, and the M4 chip size allowing for enhanced processing and GPU performance. An M4 Pro variant is also rumored along with the base model with 16 GB of RAM with a possible option of 32GB of RAM.

I have a mini PC for my desktop and a macbook as my laptop. I LOVE the mini PC, so I'm glad to see a new mac mini is coming.

One of the biggest things, that I've struggled with on all Mac minis I've had over the years from Intel to M1 and now my current M2, is the base model only has 256GB. That needs to be addressed, as it is basically useless. At the very least, some affordable storage upgrades.

Since 2015, I've been carrying my mini PC back and forth between home and the office, and I think it's a really cool concept. When I first saw the Mac mini, this idea came to mind. If the new model could be even smaller, that would be perfect—I could carry an even smaller bag to office.
