How does the battery life compare between the iPhone 16 and 16 Pro models?

Do the standard models of the iPhone 16 have a noticeably shorter battery life when compared to the iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max? Would individuals able to use battery with a similar capacity in these phone models have noticeable differences in endurance due to the hardware configurations?

There is indeed a big differentiation when it comes to the battery life of the iPhone 16 in comparison with the Pro variants. When video is played on iPhone 16 Pro, users may get an extra 5 hours in comparison to iPhone 16. Similarly with iPhone 16 Plus in comparison to iPhone 16 Pro Max, the latter gives an extra 6 hours of battery. This larger battery is definitely one of the great benefits of the Pro models.

Well I am upgrading from an 8 plus. Given my phones last 7 years, I think I will just bite the bullet and max it out. It is hard to imagine that I will pay almost as much for my 16pro max as I did for my 14" MacBook Pro. Such is the world we live in.

Thanks for the comparison. I really love the ultramarine color but I need always on display. I’ll probably get the black iPhone 16 pro. Hopefully the battery life really is better.
