Will the New M4 MacBook Pro Be a Significant Upgrade?

The anticipation that the forthcoming iteration of the M4 MacBook Pro will surpass its predecessors is expected but perhaps not the most accurate one to hub around.

The new expected upgrades like the M4 Chip is very minimal over the current M1 chip, with even the design style sustained. The new Macbook will remain 14 inch and will have similar core structure as the new M4 iPad Pro. The chip improvement is said to increase super core performance. What appears to be the most noticeable alteration would be the increased starting memory of 8GB to 16GB which is, quite frankly, about flipping time.

Two things: 1) the price of the base model will likely increase because of more RAM. Just classic Apple greed. 2) If you use any of the AI features or any local AI model 16 GB will not be enough.

Yes 16GB of shared memory should have always been the starting point for memory in a M series Mac PERIOD!!!!

I don't care if the MacBook Pro M4 only starts with 12GB of RAM. If it goes up at all, I'm trading in my venerable M1 MacBook Air and getting that bad boy.

i want to see a macbook pro m4 max chip, and a new oled display that will brighten up outside, just like iphone 15 pro max or the new ipad pro m4. I will only buy a new macbook if they release a new oled display. sick and tired of not seeing clearly in bright sunlight

I'm sure going to upgrade my MacBook Pro 14 inch M1 Pro 2021 model, to the new MacBook Pro 16 inch m4 pro. the 14 inch is just too small for me
