The high costs of travel have made travel banning a thing of the past. I always say that planning a vacation includes even saving money. Faster and cheaper, who wouldn't want to take a taxi or catch an Uber from the airport to downtown? If saving funds is a task critical to you, what do you suggest I pursue on my upcoming trip to Rome in order to get the best transportation from the airport into the city center?

The most efficient and inexpensive transport option to go from the airport to downtown Rome is using the Leonardo Express. The fare is quite reasonable at around ¤ 14 and is a quick train with no intermediate stops, making the trip quite convenient. There is no need to pre-purchase them as tickets can be purchased at the kiosks located in the baggage claim.

This was very helpful! Thank you.  I'm going in a few weeks and can't decide between a private car from the airport (FCO) or the train.  The amount of luggage is a concern ☺

Appreciate the tips. I'm thinking of visiting there within the next 2 months & probably would've absolutely made the mistake of getting a taxi at the airport lol

Taxi from the airport to Rome should only cost 40EU. It's a regulated cost. Any taxi charging more than that should be reported.
