There's been talk of an incredible optical illusion regarding the Saint Peter’s Dome in Rome. Could you elaborate what it is and where I could possibly view it?

Saint Peter’s Dome optical illusion in Rom can be captured from Via Nicola Piccolomini. One thing worth noticing is that when the viewer moves toward the dome, it looks like the shape is getting smaller, which quite strange. There seems to be a phenomenon where this is more extreme when seen from a car and is owing to the arrangement of the edifices on the street. This is something quite special and indeed interesting to observe when in sy i.e. in Rome.

Went to Saint Clement Basically and probably my highlight of Rome. Not sure how I feel about you sharing this site missed by most tourists. Spent hours in there on a summers day in peak season and barely anyone else in site. Great recommendations overall. Loved the content which to do the Alpine way on my return to Rome.
