Can default lock screen controls on iOS 18 be altered?

Yes, on iOS 18 you can now customize the controls that are on your lock screen. Any of the controls in the gallery of controls can be used as the lock screen controls or they can be removed completely for an ultra two-dimensional minimalist lock screen.

Finally that damn torch and camera will be banished from my lock screen. No more walking around with the camera or torch inadvertently on.

lockscreen customization is probably the best for me. finally, I can replace the camera app with halide, and flashlight with calculator.

It's great to have a vpn button in the control center as well now. :D

If we include the ecosystem, then the best overall feature is screen mirroring onto my mac :D
