What is the quickest way to open Spotlight search on iOS 18?

Indeed, in iOS 18, Spotlight can be accessed by long pressing the action button. This permits the user to perform a Spotlight search without exiting the application they are in.

Spotlight search can also be enabled without use of the shortcuts app via the Back Tap gesture (Settings > Accessibility > Touch > Back tap).

I can't get spotlight quick action to show up on iOS 18.  Is that 18.1?
