What steps should I follow to modify the way a link is displayed in my iMessage thread?

With the updates in iOS 18, users can click on a link from the message threads and select ‘Convert to Text Link’ or ‘Customize’. If you select ‘Customize’, you have the option of picking other thumbnails associated with the link or changing it to a text link alone.
