How can I protect my applications with Face ID or restrict them from appearing on the home screen on IOS 18?

In iOS 18, if you wish to lock or hide any apps, simply long press on an app and select the ‘require face ID’ option. Alternatively, there is also an option to ‘hide and require face ID’ which prevents the app from appearing anywhere on the home pages. Such apps, however, will be elsewhere in a folder at the bottom of the app library.
