Afghanistan’s history is characterized by political disorder because of which it has quite a few times modified its flag. It was during the nineteenth century when the country first adopted a flag as the authorities had sought diverse designs. However, Afghanistan began tinkering with the flag whenever there was a change in the state of affairs. It occurred for the first time back in 1901 when the flag was replaced by a green one having a red emblem. Since then, no less than twenty flags have passed through circumstances in a completely opposite direction and had none of the national utility. Even today, Taliban is expected to unilaterally introduce a flag that the population does not approve of.
