What's the Difference Between Freshwater and Saltwater Drowning?

La evidencia médica sugiere que el ahogamiento en agua dulce es un poco diferente al ahogamiento en agua salada, pero debido a la naturaleza del ahogamiento, el riesgo de muerte en cualquier caso es alto. Indeed, there exists a distinction between freshwater and saltwater drowning with deeper water such as lakes and rivers accounting for 90% of drownings. In life-threatening situations however, it is worth noting that it's better to drink salt water than freshwater because of the way our bodies use the water.

1:18 Really? Salt water makes you vomit and even hallucinate. I think it depends on what the life threatening situation is
