Can garlic really be tasted with the feet?

You can't truly taste food with your feet, but certain aroma molecules in garlic, garlic's active ingredient allicin for instance, can pass through your skin into the bloodstream, and finally find their way out through your mouth and nose where you can 'taste' them.

I've always had a weird urge to step on garlic. So now I'll step on Legos instead.

Someone else can put garlic in their armpits and see what  happens.

I once doubled the amount of iron in my body when working construction. My body absorbed the iron very quickly through a small section of pores on my foot..... Still tasted like garlic.
