I consider it intriguing that certain individuals possess no internal dialogue. How is that even feasible, and how do they form their thoughts?

It is correct that an inner dialogue or internal monologue is not present in every person. This type of person has a calm thought process and does not listen to an inner voice talking to him or her throughout the day. At the same time, these individuals still think in what is referred to as ‘silent reading’ or can even get songs playing in their heads.

I can’t listen to books on tapes. My mind doesn’t shut up enough for me to listen to the words.
