Creatine is an over the counter sports drug that is often abused in order to improve sporting performance. There are no health risks associated with its use and it is absent from the list of substances prohibited in sports. Despite this, it is still prudent to obtain your dietary supplements from credible dealers so as to minimize the chances of adulteration.

Unfortunately creatine makes me feel terrible for some reason so I can't take it

I just assumed every pro in the last 20 years were taking creatine. Marginal gains. Making handle bar wrappings more aero. And then not using creatine in a sport that includes bursts of power? That's just weird.

Sure, a bit more water weight, but you can take a single gram or less, instead of the typical five.

The contamination aspect is valid, however.

You can always reach out to Lance Armstrong for really good advice in terms of supplements and performance enhancing. He knows everything about it.

I love cycling and I can't enjoy it as before because I destroyed my kidneys. Therefore, I don't recommend anyone to take creatine as it is the result of more muscle breaking down the worst toxic for the kidneys, which is creatinine. Do exercises, ride your bike, and enjoy life.
