The Adult Survivors Act is a legal statute enacted in New York and allows over eighteen sexual assault victims to institute civil actions for not more than a year irrespective of when it is alleged the sexual assault took place. This act has allowed many people to bring litigation against P Diddy since it grants an opportunity to individuals who would have been unable to pursue their cases because of the limitations period.
