The Large Hadron Collider (LHC) is touted as the most complex machine built, which has a goal of investigating the universe by accelerating protons. It is able to recreate conditions which were present a fraction less than a billionth of a second after the universe was formed, enabling scientists to examine the universe in its most primordial form. The LHC aims to witness the universe in a state which is devoid of the overwhelming intricacies and study its basic and most essential laws.
