According to the Inflation theory, it is believed that after the Big Bang the universe underwent rapid exponential expansion. An expansion of this kind entails that the universe does not have a well defined edge, much like a piece of crumpled paper which can always be laid out flat and back to its original dimensions. The universe expansion theory suggests that there are forces which constitute expansion and are constant in all places within our universe. Although this theory has its strengths, it still faces problems, for instance, it does not clarify of what energy could have been responsible for creating and expanding the universe. Although confirming the subsequent rapid expansion after the Big Bang substance of inflation theory alone does not resolve all the issues pertaining to the evolutiona and arrangement of the universe.
