It interests me to know how many ‘Stan’ countries are there and where do we find them.

In Central South Asia there are seven nations that feature the suffix ‘Stan’ and they all are located within that region.

Erm technically there are 18 countries with the word land in their name because Stan means land. Erm technically Everest is 8,000m not 8,000km
