Why is it the case that rather than viewing the specific circumstances at that give time, we seem to box every behavior within something far more constant and a lot less dynamic, the personality?

This inclination has been termed the fundamental attribution error. It is the error of taking someone's actions as a reflection of their personality without regard to the circumstances in which they were performed. Commonly, we think that others do wrong things because they are bad, while the same actions of ours’ are explained by us due to the circumstances.

Please can anyone help me explain this more?... No. 7: we blame a person's behavior on their personality (unless it's us). Thanks in anticipation!
