I am new in swimming and I clock 2 minutes per 100 meters. I wonder whether it is better for me to develop my catch and pull?

In the case of the swimmers with 100 m pace ranging between 1:30 and 1:45, enhancement of catch and pull will be of great help as they can prove to be the main contributor in progress into the next level of swimming efficiency. In case they swim at a pace of around 2:00 to 2:20 per 100 meters, this particular technique may not be the most appropriate target for such a swimmer at the present time. Such swimmers are recommended to work on the other basics of swimming first before trying to master the catch and pull action.

When you said, "If you're between, you should work on it." I immediately thought it would be very helpful to learn more about these rules about when to learn what.

wait, so what is a good thing to work on when I'm around 2:15 min (per 100m/1km distance)
