There are quite a number of improvements made in the documents and this includes new features added to the Remarkable 3 and they are the following; response time is reduced further, the display is front-lit which helps in low visibility conditions, it has color capability, the response time to the interface feels quicker, and the device has a bigger size with a dimension of 11.8 inches from corner to corner.

Let me guess, like the Remarkable II, they hid some of the most valuable features behind a subscription service. Something that no reviewer ever mentions, and I only discovered while digging deep into their website.

I love the fact everything is automatically available on paired devices. Phone, Laptop, tablet and displayed in more vivid colour. Not sure u point this out

-There is some incorrect information in this review. There is no other device that can sync your documents and notebook so easy. You close your document/notebook you are working on, and a few seconds later it is available on your PC/Mobiles and this works the other way around (Remarkable Connect Cloud). Also if you connect the Remarkable via USB to your PC, and via you browser you get access to all your Documents/Notebooks. There is no reason to use email, unless you send your Notebook/Documents to somebody else. Also with Connect you can sync your documents with Google Drive, Dropbox and OneDrive. With Remarkable Connect solution, you don't need to even think about, it is auto-synced to all your devices. The only downside with the Connect solutions is like 2.9$ / month, after 100 days free trial.
-Also the canvas is not restricted to the screen size (if that is what you mean). You can drag with 2 fingers horizontal and vertical, to expand your canvas to the right and to the bottom. If you make a mind map or a drawing, you don't need to worry, if it doesn't fit on the screen. This is also working when you make handwrite notes or PDF's, when you want to add notes.

Which e-writer would you recommend if all I want to do is create notes and mark up pdf’s and word docs and easily transfer them to my pc?

Wrong information: you can’t get files off without email…not correct…To transfer documents from a reMarkable Paper Pro to your mobile or desktop, you need to use the reMarkable cloud service (or Dropbox or Google Docs or One Drive by syncing your device with the desktop or mobile app, which allows you to access and download your documents across all connected devices via Wi-Fi; essentially, you can just open the app and access your files to download them as needed.

Yes you can export, I use the desktop app all the time with the RM2.
Yes you have layers in the RM2 (you didn't remember).
You are talented, but this review was a bit lazy. Do some research before just saying random stuff.
Love your work, this review just wasn't as good as your usual quality.

Hardware Yea
Software Nah

Is not the worst position to be in. If they’re actively making the software better, it’s a significantly better position than terrible hardware, terrible feeling writing but great software. They can’t actively fix your bad hardware

Also, I wish you could go into the ecosystem a little more. It wasn’t quite clear the trouble you were having getting your files or putting books on it.

It sounded like the only way to push and retrieve anything on the device was through their web interface? There is no hookup to one’s local computer?
