Has anyone had the opportunity to use the USI stylus on the Remarkable Paper Pro and do a review comparing it with the earlier version of the Wacom EMR pen?

The USI stylus which is used with the Remarkable Paper Pro does not have an obvious advantage over the older Wacom EMR pen. The new pen has a nice weight and feel but generally USI styluses do have increased wobble which can be observed on the Paper Pro. The pencil tool does reduce this wobble, however, a lot of people prefer the Wacom EMR pen for drawing and illustration purely because of the accuracy it provides.

They did the biggest mistake possible, going from a decent pen stylus, to an abysmal mid stylus tech.
What a shame. That thing had a great potential, hopefully they acknowledge their mistake and make a version with Wacom EMR.

Correct opinions Brad. Agree entirely re: the Wacom vs this pen!
I think you are right about the ecosystem thing, it would be a great workflow for you if you could do the pencil sketch on rM given it's limitations, and then ink and colour on the Samsung S10 or other pro drawing. But it would just frustrate you to export and import into different software!

Have you used the SVG export much, is that useful for your work?

Glad you are still using the Boox Note Air, says a lot about that experience!

Solid review Brad! I agree 100% the pen is a downgrade, however the feel has improved a lot. I'm still not sold on the color as I rarely use it for notetaking, but I am enjoying it a bit for sketching. Nice art btw!

Nice content. You need to fix your auto focus hahaha its shifting from your hand to the device to the hand etc....

Underpowered, the pen is a step back and it's highly overpriced, not for me, their competition does better for the same price and gives you a Wacom EMR pen. Personally I don't think it's a solid upgrade, not at this price.

Worthless without wacom tbh

A worse pen that costs extra... that's the end of the review for me.
