How does the front light on the Remarkable Paper Pro affect battery life?

Has anyone observed a noticeable change in the battery longevity while utilizing the front lamp on the Remarkable Paper Pro?

Certainly, the battery life of the Remarkable Paper Pro is affected a lot by the front light features. Unlike the previous device, the Remarkable 2 which could stay without being charged for up to weeks, this usage of the Paper Pro will mean that it has to be charged more frequently, probably every other day instead of once every few weeks. Also since the light feature is subtle, it could be switched on and consuming power unwittingly during the day too.

E-ink generally isn't something you want to buy if you want to have color accuracy or frame rate, but one thing it does very well is saving energy. Each pixel stays at a color permanently until it is forced to change, even if there is no battery left or if the screen is removed from the device.
There are merits to that, but I'm not in that specific market at all.
