Will Apple Have a Press Release for the M4 Macs?

Would it be out of place to think that Apple might announce the latest range of M4 Macs through press release channels rather than an event?

Apple is not expected to launch their new M4 Macs via a regular press statement. In the past, Apple has used this method to make announcements when a product has some modest improvement, such as a new chip being introduced on the current design. There are new evolution changes expected in M4 Pro and M4 Max chipsets, and a better look of the Mac Mini moreover new features and enhancements will be introduced, therefore a likelihood of these advertisements being put on hold till an event is quite high.

I am patiently awaiting a smaller m4 mini. I still have all my minis since 2010, but I like keeping them as back up fun machines. A new mini would be my primary use/everyday use worker but I have never gotten rid of any of my Mac minis, I am still quite amazed by all of them, for simple back up machines, media servers or just so I can still use older OSs and software that I have purchased years ago. I like photoshop 5.5 when it was streamlined and simple, and I don’t have to pay a monthly subscription fee for it.

With the Macbooks being just internal M4 upgrades it would make sense to me to just do a press release for them.  I would expect they will want to do a proper release though for the Mac Mini M4 which will be a major upgrade.  My prediction, a Mac Mini M4 Mac Event.

Not too late I hope. Delays in deliveries to New Zealand could mean Father Christmas won’t be able to deliver M4 Macbook Pro. My 2018 mac book Pro screen is faulty.
