Are there any hidden safety features on airplanes that passengers might not know about?

Yes, airplanes have several hidden safety features. For example, some planes with over-wing exits have yellow escape rope brackets with hooks to secure an escape rope, acting as a handhold for passengers during an emergency evacuation over the wing. Additionally, most modern airplane cabins include built-in handrails under the overhead bins to provide grip for passengers navigating the aisles.

The movable aisle armrest is not a "hidden safety feature" for evacuation. That doesn't even make sense to have a hidden safety feature. In an emergency, no one would know it's there or how to use it/find it. The armrest is moveable because some passengers with disabilities need to be able to slide from the wheelchair to their seat without being lifted. Lifting passengers in such tight spaces can cause injuries. A slide board is placed between the wheelchair and the aisle seat for the passenger to move between the two. That's why the armrest needs to be able to fold up.

I figured out the "unlock" switch on the aisle armrest a long time ago, and I make a habit of lifting the armrest when we're boarding and leaving the plane. So much easier to get everyone in and out when the armrests are all up.

I love the seat trick on the for lifting the arm. I am disabled and it has always been hard for me to get out of the seat when going to the restroom or getting in and out. Next time I travel, I will try this.

I seem to remember that all of the armrests could be moved up.
I once flew on a mostly empty flight and I was able to lay across all the seats like a bed

Sorry, scuba diving tanks are not full of oxygen, they are full of air.

You forgot to mention the secret bedroom that every plane has for their flight attendants
