What are the differences in design between the new M4 Mac Mini and the previous M2 Mac Mini?

Could someone enlighten us on the new design elements that the M4 Mac Mini comes with which were not seen on the M2 Mac Mini?

The new M4 Mac Mini adopts a different design which takes after the Mac studio but has been sleeked down for portability. It has a height of 5 cm and a width and depth of 12.7 cm which is around 50% smaller in area of the new M2 Mac Mini where the width and depth were 19.7 cm. Further, this new Mac mini is thinner weighing at 0.67 kg, in contrast moving from 1.18 kg of the older generation.

Since I have a M2 Pro mini I won't be getting the M4 model. It's more powerful than I'll ever need. But I suspect the basic M4 mini will be faster than mine at half the price.
