Would anyone be kind enough to provide the most critical reasons why switching over to the upgraded M4 Mac Mini would be a superb choice?

The redesigned M4 Mac Mini has many advantages, including the following: RAM starting at 16GB, which is still reasonably priced at $599; Thunderbolt 5 ports included only on the Pro version; a very compact and easy-to-carry form-factor; the introduction of the M4 chip improved the performance remarkably; the core counts and performance of the M4 Pro chip, combination with the performance of M4 Pro chip, enabling up to five USB-C ports, RAM starting at 24GB for Pro model which increases up to 80, neural engine performance is also faster, up to three full displays can also be supported, and maximum RAM capacity of up to 64GB on M4 Pro Mac mini.

I saw the apple ad for this earlier. What impressed me most was its ability to move around on its own and the fact that it can now talk.

That's a GOOD upgrade. It's a great PC.
So many USB-A accessories still lying around though.
