One can find Logitech Pebble Keys as requiring two AAA batteries which can last about three years, while Apple Magic Keyboards rely on a rechargeable battery, which can sustain about a month of use, and a lightning cable can recharge them.

I have slept on my K380 in my bed after navigating my laptop next to my bed for over 4 years. I only needed to change the batteries twice. I'm surprised it's that good. I think Planned Obsolescence didn't check up on this, and if this upgrade says 3 years instead of 2 years, I would certainly love to put it to the test. Regardless, Logitech, if they get rid of this design, will lose so much with such a great product.
