The process of pairing the Apple Magic Keyboard with Touch ID is a bit unwieldy as it cannot connect to multiple devices at once. It needs to be re-paired to other devices using a Lightning cable, and if you want to connect to an iPad wirelessly, the switch has to be turned off and then on again, and appropriate settings within the Bluetooth options of the iPad have to be made. In case someone wants to return to use the computer, it has to be switched on again; and when a user intends to return to the iPad, the device has to be forgotten from Bluetooth settings again, and therefore, such changes are more inconvenient than using the MX Mechanical Mini.
