What caused an ordinary boy to rise to the occasion and perform the exceedingly unusual task of CPR on his sister to assure her safety?

Tristan is only 9 years old and already saved his sister Brook’s life after he performed CPR when she was discovered in the swimming pool. His fascination with the brutal war film ‘Blackhawk Down’ helped him learn what to do in such emergencies. He was, in a way, self-trained and took only to actions that were crucial for his sister’s survival.

I loved all these stories but I didn’t see many talking about the boy who did CPR on his sister that he learned from a movie. I’m 38 and never learned from tv. Great job lil man!
