People did find little problems in this technique but the one which stood out for many of them was the location method. In this approach, people were told to memorize the details of their grocery list by associating the items to certain parts of their bodies. In this case, the authors suggest starting with a person’s head and then progressively working downward until every part of the body has been assigned a storage function for one or more additional items. It is best to be creative for such relationships make it easier to remember the list. An avocado can be placed on a head as the first item and blueberries can stick out of their nose as a second item etc.
