For continuous improvement, the principle of progressive overload must be employed which is placing greater stress on the body than in previous times. Once the body reaches and is conditioned to a specific fitness level, the only way possible to make further improvements is by increasing the fitness level. One can do this by increase in volume of training performed or amount of work performed in the training.

This is awesome, best content I’ve seen so far explaining this.  Thank you!

Its kinda complicated, since if you have to apply progressive overload, you will automatically be pushing yourself into higher heart zones. But researchers and scientists recommend that training most of the time in zone 2 is the most efficient?
