Is there a way one can speed up the animation effects which will make the device seem like it works faster on iOS?

You can enable ‘Reduce Motion’ in the access settings to reduce some animations but this does not eliminate them completely. Some customers feel that the pleasant animations tend to make the device slower than it actually is.

I'm happy that Linus addressed the scrolling speed issues. It drove me crazy when i switched to an iphone.

.5 animations on Android was the best thing I found years ago. I can never go back at this point.
I love you guys actually found an old iphone with the account settings as Linus mentioned. It was wild listening to the WAN show with this topic and quite a many iphone chatters were simultaneously getting their mind blown while calling Linus wrong.

Been an iPhone user for about 15 years and I agree with your critiques on most of the iOS oddities. WHY can I not turn off animations? Like come on Apple, give us more settings for people that want to do things that make when OS feel more "snappy".
