Kangaroos are amazing animals that can live in almost any part of Australia. They do prefer grasslands and woodlands since those environments provide abundant food supply but can also manage to survive in dryer areas by changing to the scarcity of water and vegetation. They have the ability to survive very humid and very hot environments by changing the plants they eat and getting moisture out of them, making them able to live in moist coastal areas as well as in somewhat dry interiors.
