Kangaroos are significant in the Australian ecosystem owing to their interactions with wildlife, increasing the biodiversity of the ecosystems where they live. They have a role of grazing on plants which affects the diversity of the vegetation and also the stability of their environment. This grazing activity provides fitness of the environment for the future generations. On the other hand, consuming grasses and shrubs by the kangaroos does not only add to the feeding of the kangaroos, but ensures that the balance of the ecosystem is maintained which is paramount.
