Knee pain could benefit from sled training, which leans on basic movement principles and builds strength. Along with relieving the stress off the knees, sled exercises -especially while moving backward- create active tension on the muscles. Regular training of this nature is understood to provide muscle development, weight training as well as restorative activities.
For knee pain patients, it was shown that those particular muscles that are engaged do work during backward movement which is helpful in the process of rehabilitation to patients. This is useful in correcting knee joint weakness and thus quite instrumental in reducing the societal burden of excess dependence on analgesics.
