The recent change in the Specialized Roubaix now allows for fitting 40 mm wide tiresSpecifications, combines a very flexible seat post, and introduces a new Future Shock in the front for adjusting the front suspension. These changes as well as additional bottom rack attachments, top tube rack attachments and fender attachments have enhanced the all-round capability of this bike to deliver across many different terrains. All these upgrades and the bike is still light enough and there are many who continue to love this bike as an endurance bicycle.

i own the S-Works Roubaix and the Canyon Endurace CFR. Both are great Bikes, i like the integrated Cockpit of the Endurace. Can ride with both Bikes the whole Day, without Problems in my Back.

Being a lover of my 2 TCR's I was drawn to the Defy when I started to think about an endurance bike but after many reviews I'm falling in love with the new Roubaix for what seems to be the best comfort and versatility available

No Titanium bikes? Test drove a Litespeed recently and it certainly qualifies as an endurance bike. Curious to hear anyone's opinion's on the Roubaix front shock. It looks to depress very easily.

Are you sure that Specialized Roubaix has fender and rack mounts? I heard only Specialized Allez has them.
I am desperately looking for a bike with at least fender mounts. I know that Trek Domane, Cannondale Synapse and Vitus Veno have the mounts. Do any other carbon endurance bike have it? What about Pinarello X series or Bianchi Infinito?
