I work at an Apple Store and I can assure brand loyalty is so sad, some dude spent nearly 3k on an iPad just to write notes and this guy had to use a multiple credit cards just to purchase it. I pushed him not purchase the high end iPad and just stick to a cheaper option but he insisted

As someone who owns both Apple and non Apple tech I can assure you, it IS possible to use and enjoy both, without making one brand central to your identity.
