What Operating System Does the Huawei Mate Xs Use?

Is the Huawei Mate Xs equipped with the Android OS or something else entirely?

Mate Xs has an operating system called Harmony OS which is the operating system owned by Huawei. Since the company is barred from utilizing Google services, it can be concluded that the Mate Xs does not run Android nor has any Google apps installed out of the box.

2:31 Huawei is the best phone company there is. If they get Google back its over for IPhone and Samsung. That's probably why they banned them because they know.

If Huawei was allowed to use Google I'm pretty sure they would be the best android phones going.

All Google apps can be used in Huawei phones, but you have to install the apps yourself.

I’m surprised you were able to get that into the UK. I thought all five eyes and some EU countries had a blanket ban on Huawei?
