As much as gravel and road bike frames differ in terms of aerodynamics, this is not something that casual riders have to worry about. Gravel bike frames have more room for bigger tires which can be less aerodynamic compared to thin and sleek road bike frames. But unless you’re racing or doing a time-trial where every watt counts, these aerodynamic differences are hardly going to spoil your day or not be an hindrance to your ride.
