As I work on my iPhone; I am not too confident about some applications which prompt to change with the new iOS 18. Is it possible to lock apps using Face ID or Touch ID?

To secure any application using the Face ID or Touch ID in iOS 18 user had to tap and hold the icon on the app and choose the option ‘require face ID’ or ‘require Touch ID.’ Furthermore, users can select to omit that specific app from the home screen. Such omitted apps can be retrieved from the ‘hidden’ section in the app library which is also locked and can be opened using Face ID or Touch ID. To change the above settings, a user goes first to the hidden folder, finds the app, tap and hold it and press on the option ‘don’t require face ID.

Great content, I would prefer the secret folder had a passcode, my kids look like me and can pass Face ID ♂️

What’s the point of hiding an app if there’s just a hidden folder? Even though it’s empty, it’s still suggesting things are hidden there. Lol
