Do the new AirPods 4 fit better than previous models?

I have previously had some tinkering problems with the fit of my ears into the AirPods. Is there any change in AirPods 4 concerning this fitting problem?

The new AirPods 4 features a minor adjustment in shape, with additional curves and angles, and the driver points a little bit more directly into the ear however, as with the silicone tips, anyone who had trouble with the previous AirPods fitting will mostly likely experience the same with the AirPods 4. They may stay in place a little better, but they still have a tendency to gradually fall out of the ear in some users.

I personally love the seal I get from the AirPods Pro 2nd gen. The only problem is I like using them for running or the gym, but as soon as I start sweating they slowly start to ease out. I never had that problem with the AirPods 3. HOWEVER, I’m also not willing to sacrifice the noise cancellation. I’m hoping these AirPods 4 are the perfect mix of both .

to anyone that hates silicon tip earbuds: try different tip sizes. i hated them for years until i got a decent pair of IEMs and actually tried the different sizes of tips for an extended period of time. it may also be worth trying out foam eartips, i myself hate them but a lot of people love them. at the end of the day, all ears are different. what works for someone else will not necessarily work for you. also when i say try different tip sizes, i mean try ALL of them. for years i never bothered trying small ear tips because i just assumed they would fall out, but when i actually tried them i found that they are 100% the best for me.

I love the shape of AirPods 2. Want to upgrade to AirPods 4 for the noise cancellation but I’m afraid I won’t like how they fit my ear.

Love that Apple keeps giving love to the customers that don't like silicon tips. Literally bought AirPods just because they were the only true wireless earbuds I could find at the time, and I've not looked back!

They should add silicone wingtips. Earbuds with wingtips are the only ones that stay in my ear.
