It particularly enhances call background noise suppression, Active Noise Cancellation, Transparency mode improvements, and Adaptive Audio support. It even enhances such actions as tilting or shaking one’s head to respond to Siri’s inquiries. The H2 chip however remains the most important element in the Matrix for new AirPods 4 features and their enhancement.
