The innovative function of the new Camera Control button that is integrated into the iPhone 16 Pro is referred to as a physical button due to its capability of being pressed down to manage camera operations. It is capable of activating the camera, capturing images, commencing video clip recording, and has an embedded vibration motor and a touch sensitive surface that allows it to simulate the sensation of a half-press of a real camera. It also provides for flipping through the camera zoom, photographic style, tone and other camera controls.

Customers: We don't like the Touchbar on Macbooks.
Apple: Fine, we will move it to the phone and call it a switch

That !BUTTON! reminds me of those fingerprint readers we had on some older phones. I think my honor 8 back then had one on the back that was a finger print reader, a button and a touch pad. I really loved using it to scroll through notifications and open the camera. It was such a smart think you take the phone out of the pocket, and while you pull it out you could easily already unlock it through fingerprint and then swipe down and you had your notifications on the screen all in one smooth motion. And checking notifications is literally one of the things you do the most on a phone.

Apple really missed their mark by not making the Camera Control Button was TouchID. I'm glad you touched on it at the end. Cheers
