To integrate the new Camera Control button in their design, the iPhone case design team has provided two possible alternatives. The first alternative is a partial opening on one side of the cover which allows the finger to touch the button located somewhere underneath the cover. The second alternative, this time already practiced by Apple's own cases, has a glass insert which allows the button on the outside of the case to maintain a flush look with the Camera Control within the case.
