How Do Selfie Cameras on iPhone 16 Pro Max and Samsung Compare?

How do you think the iPhone 16 Pro Max and the Samsung Galaxy s24 Ultra compare in terms of selfie camera performance?

Both phones allow the users to take normal selfies and wide selfies and the iPhone users do have a slight edge in terms of angle. Although no tangible difference can be seen in detail but the two phones interpret and stylize the scene differently. Samsung skin tone often comes out warmer than the reality as well as the surroundings are a bit oversaturated and it does the portrait selfies better too. Apple has also new photo styles for skin tone adjustments. Concerning the video recording, iPhone does have a slight grain on the front camera but it performs better in low light conditions so it does have an advantage in the selfie video quality.

How come did apple win in selfie as samsung is fairly better in shooting natural colours? And as you can clearly see, the face is over brightened in iphone rather than samsung's balanced colours !

I have always agreed with Mrwhosetheboss on this comparations, but in my opinion, giving Apple the "Selfie Video" category is just wild, considering that Samsung's quality in this category is significantly better, excluding the in-app Instagram camera and the low-light videos, which are quite rarely used. Either way, this is my opinion, and the content in general is really well made. Keep up the good work!

Personal Note : Most important usage of a camera app for me has to be good photo and good content at any point of time. Apple dominates both front and rear content, as well as at night times, and it also is pretty good in rear camera photos, and I'd say I like the front camera of iPhone more, the goldeny look it gives as compared to that of Samsung... So I think the options that some of the options that Samsung won, like Editing is not of much use....
