How demanding is High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT), both physically and mentally? Since such workouts are very rigorous, they are recommended in a frequency of twice a week as this is usually manageable for the body and helps to avoid any burnout. Furthermore, it should also be noted that when hitting intervals, more isn't always better, especially if power starts to begin to taper.
