Quark’s power meter spider is what I am interested to install on my bicycle. Will it fit on any chainring?

Not all chainrings can be used together with the Quark power meter spider. It has a 107mm BCD (Bolt Circle Diameter) which makes it compatible only with the X-Sync road 1x and the SRAM Force 2x chainrings. One also needs to use SRAM Red or SRAM Force eTap AXS cranks for the interface.

Great content! I have a Canyon Grail SLX with Eagle 12X eTap and 1XForce crankset 42. Sram choice simulator doesn't mention that 42 chainring. I have 165 mm cranks. Can I just buy the spider meter? Is there only one version? Will it fit? Can there be compatibility issues? All help is much appreciated!

I've got Sram Force, do I need to get new rings to fit the power meter?

This is the Powermeter that SRAM have had to admit defeat on re chainring size and supply teams with traditional c.rings which are only available on the Force variant = jerks Yes small rings work for weekend riders but not Pro's!

The spider is not compatible with Red 2x chainrings, only Red 1x, so you're still stuck buying the expensive Red 2x chainring with the preinstalled quarq powermeter.
