During a gravel bike ride over a rough terrain, it would be best to loosen up and hold the handlebars lightly. Pay attention to your body movement and check the tire pressure needed for a shock-absorbing effect. In case of excess bumpy roads, there’s no need to feel bad if you get off the bike. It is about comfort and control, alter your style if necessary.

Best tip i got was to get off and behind the saddle on the bumpy descents. From some mtb guys.

growing up in the country , we rode on railroad tracks, gravel and dirt roads and through just about anything. We learned to use our arms and legs as suspension .... easy peasy
